Produce Market
There is a new produce market about 4 miles from our neighborhood where we went yesterday to get tomatoes, fresh shrimp, watermelon, cantaloupe, and peaches. The sign that says boiled means "boiled peanuts" which is very popular product here, although I do not like them. They are boiled in the shell and feel very slimy to handle or eat. Several of our adult children love them. The jars on the top shelf are pickled okra imported from the Amish in Pennsylvania. I didn't want to buy any. Look forward to having shrimp today when a daughter comes to spend the night. Thank you again for continuing comments. It feels like you are being supportive to a brother in need and a friend who hasn't really left.
