On the road to Arthog

Yesterday I drove from Aberdovey to Arthog to collect Lottie’s quilt from The Quilt Sanctuary - https://www.thequiltsanctuary.co.uk/. Laura Goulding is one of the few people in the UK that does Longarm Quilting. This is a great thing to know if you have finished sewing a quilt but don’t want to quilt it yourself. I am thrilled with what she had done on my quilt.

The journey took me through exquisite scenery, from majestic soaring Welsh hills to the winding coast road which comes down the hill to Fairborne and to Barmouth in the distance. On the picture, in the foreground, you can see the railway I spoke about in my May 16th Blip.
