Horrible boring day!

What a horrible boring day. Went for my morning walk, on my lead, in the rain. Got soaked. Ann went off to do Mrs Rs shop and I had 'home alone' time.

Minor rant!.......................

All this putting on and taking off of masks is driving my human mad! Masks have been mandatory in Scotland in shops and on public transport for a while now, but as far as Ann's concerned; that's not really where they're needed. There's hardly anyone on public transport (especially the trains) and people in the supermarkets are
pretty good at social distancing. From Ann's experience........................ masks should be mandatory in places like North Berwick High Street, where we went yesterday (and definitely Fore Street & the Wharf in St Ives, where we were a couple of weeks ago), where everyone is very squashed together and where social distancing is almost impossible. …................Just saying!!!!

This afternoon I went to Figgate Park for my walk. In the rain!!!

Ann popped into TK Max at Ford Kinnard Retail Park first, so I had to wait in the car. She'd really like a new pair of trainers and a new little 'dog walking' bag (just big enough to hold a few bits and bobs for me - ball, poo bags, water. And a few bits & bobs for her – phone, lipstick, money), but it was like TK Max have taken out half of their stock so actually the whole shopping experience was a waste of time. Fortunately she didn't have to queue to get in but when she came out, 5 mins later, there were nine people in the queue to get in. And the car park was absolutely mobbed, so people must have been in all the other shops there. She's not going back?!!! She'll search for what she wants online!!!

Figgate Park was great. There were so many pesky squirrels about that I didn't know which ones to chase first. Also, I kept running off into the undergrowth to chase them and I was being really naughty because I didn't come back the minute Ann shouted, 'Trixie come'. Unfortunately I got put back on my lead about 5 mins before the walk ended because Ann was getting really fed up with me disobeying her and she was also very wet and grumpy.

Oh and if anyone is interested........................... this is a photo of me sitting next to Figgy Loch. There was lots of horrid slime/algae in the water and fortunately I was sensible enough not to go for a swim in there.

PS – Weather app is showing rain for the rest of our lives. Booooohoooooo.


PPS - We mentioned this a few days ago....................  No longer seem to be able to add our location to BLIP as all we get is a world map.  If we type into the search bar where our location is, how do we save this to our BLIP post?  To be honest we're not really too worried about this (as we know where we've been) but we know that some of our followers liked to check out our location.
