Llansteffan
We felt the need to stretch our legs somewhere further away now that we are allowed to so we headed to Llansteffan. It’s a small coastal village at the mouth of the Tywi Estuary (the longest river flowing entirely in Wales, 122k) There is a big castle which overlooks the sea which I have previously blipped from. Today we just walked a circular route along the beach, round the headland and back through the footpaths and lanes to the village. There were a lot of vehicles with trailers on the beach belonging to Cocklers who were out collecting on the distant sandbanks. It was great to be out in the sun and sea air.
Thanks for your comments on yesterday’s birds.
