Chicory

The field where the chicory is growing is just opposite our house.  It is thriving well with red clover and other plants to form a "green manure" crop.The soil will benefit with natural minerals and nitrogen from the roots.

Mowed the lawn.  LS came to visit.  We sat in the garden and had a good catch-up with cups of tea.
