Masks

My first attempt at making masks. I’ve used two heavy layers of brushed cotton and an outer layer of Polyester as suggested in “ how to make masks videos”. They would not pass a sewing class test but would stop anything passing through including a virus. Would be hard work wearing them for long periods. Masks are not mandatory here ...yet but today was the worst day for numbers since the start of the pandemic (>500 in Australia). All seem to have come from breach of quarantine in Melbourne. None in this district since the first few weeks in March so I hope visitors don’t bring it here. 

Today I visited someone in hospital with some clean clothes to change into, post office to collect mail and mask making. That’s about it. Salmon and chips for tea.
