Knapweed

The bees love it but I do find that it grows quite tall and then flops over everything else making the wild flower patch look even more wild and messy. I have to admit to pulling a couple of clumps out to allow the other plants to breath. I have found the wildflower areas have gone a little too wild this year and , as they are on show, may consider more cottage garden type plants... hollyhocks, foxgloves etc (??). 

This year I didn’t have any poppies come up,however, a few seeded and popped up by the gate in extra.
