Computer problems

This has been my view all afternoon.  The sound (audio) quit working on my computer over the weekend and I tried everything I knew to fix it.  I finally gave up today and started chatting with a technician at Dell.  He tried a bunch of things with no success.  Now he and another tech are working on it.. It's been about 4 hours.  I think they just need to replace something inside, but what do I know.  I never thought it would take so much time, and frankly I'm tired of looking at it!  Any suggestions?
