Potentilla
On Sunday, I took a free online course on macro photography of wildflowers. It was very well done, and got me excited about being intentional with my macro lens. Yesterday I went to the zoo, and purposely left my macro at home. Today got away from me until our afternoon thunderstorm started brewing. So here is an example of everything one should not do in trying to capture a lovely flower in macro - do not be in a rush, do not try it in the wind, do not try it without a tripod, do not use autofocus. I think I did alright with not doing it in direct sun and in trying to fill the frame. More practice needed!
