One week on.....

.... and the bottle brushes are fully developed so I just had to photograph them again. I have never seen them looking so good. It must be the threat of a strong pruning in August.

It was a lovely day today; sunny and pleasantly warm with a breeze to keep the midges at bay. N and I achieved quite a lot between us. He finished installing the roof on the new van port that he has built and the campervan is now safely installed in its new home. As well as doing some washing, I did the weekly shop and also managed to get some gardening done. So we are both putting our feet up now.
