Hares

The highlight of my walk last Tuesday morning was the two hares I spotted in the field at the corner of Mill Moor.  The first one spotted me as a climbed the stile and set off up the bank, before stopping to look at me again when it reached the top (in extra).  I thought I might see it again in the field so I followed up the bank and it was indeed there, but it spotted me first and `hared’ off so fast that I didn’t get time for another photo.  But then, on the opposite side of the field I caught a glimpse of another one and managed to get the photo above.  It was so quick that I wasn’t sure it was a hare.
