Creeping crawly

Not creepy at all, this tiny shield bug nymph on a Nigella seed pod.

Everything was more or less ready by this afternoon, I had time to bake two apple pies, for son no 2's birthday tomorrow and of course for the arrival of the young couple. They're already flying as I write this text ! We'll have to get up really early tomorrow morning to go fetch them at Schiphol.
