Tuesday: Home Grown ...

... new potatoes “Desiree” planted in a bag on 5th March, more than plenty for our dinner this evening & totally delicious :-)) 
The compost at the bottom of the bag was saturated but totally dry at the top, glad I emptied it today otherwise the potatoes would have rotted.
MrD took his motorbike to Manchester for its service, I got up at 6am too!
Lots of short sessions of family history with breaks for cups of tea in the sunshine (only this morning!), collected assorted seeds for the Seed Bank https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2220522867953500996 - not so easy this year, weeks of hot/dry weather followed by cold/wet weather. Hardly any butterflies in the garden and very few bees too :-((
