I may have had a little sleep on the sofa mid-morning when I got in from the overnighter at work. I was drinking a coffee and trying to finish my book....all that reading, takes it out of a man.

But then, no, it was time to get spruced up in lycra and head out on the mean countryside roads surrounding Edinburgh for the afternoon. Chucked in a couple of different route variations along the way and it all turned out just great.

Telly, beer, Chinese - the evening beckons.
