Another day, another poppy

There are a few flowers in the garden that make folk stop and take notice.  Ths poppy is one of them; it is a highly unusual colour - there can't be many flowers with such a grey hue and the petals are crinkly as if they have just woken up and haven't yet stretched to meet the day.  Lovely.
And the blackcurrants of a few days ago are now jam, delicious but not particularly photogenic.
