Pigs' Paradise

The weather was the finest this morning with no wind and little cloud. I walked the tops of the cliffs on the west coast of the island to bag another five MacPhies. Views to the Paps of Jura and the munro of Ben More on Mull on the horizon.

Later there was swimming at Kiloran.

The title of the blip is of the name given to a grassy football pitch sized area below the cliffs where islanders of old were said to keep their pigs to feast on the rich wildflowers that grew there. It just had sheep on it today. The local brewery has named one of their beers after it, what better way to end the day with a swally of one?
