Scout Scar

No 2 son arrived yesterday afternoon and it was so good to see him after so long.  He was in good form and we had a nice evening together with dinner and fizz at home.

Today he and I ventured to  Scout Scar for a walk along the top.  Warm and sunny.  We had to walk from the north end rather than from Helsington as the road across the Lyth Valley was closed for maintenance.

This afternoon we popped up to Ambleside as I needed a new day sack.  Sorted.  

He has been quieter today - reflecting on all that is going on and his concerns about work.  Fingers crossed on that score.
