A lovely morning....

along the river. The fishermen were out , or rather in, and enjoying themselves. After two hours walking along the bank in long wet grass, I was as wet as if I had walked up the river! I sat in the sun, squeezed the water out of my socks and dried my boots and shorts. Things dried quite well in the hot sun.
Ringlets, Tortoiseshell, Speckled Wood and Common Blue butterflies are all on the wing.
Pleased to see a Corn Bunting fly up out of the Barley and onto a branch near me.
