An Apple A Day

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

This is what Jasper was staring at yesterday. The waxeyes love a bit of fruit. At first we just gave them our leftovers.

But now, because we are who we are, I buy bags of apples and oranges especially for the waxeyes.

I feel I kind of have to. They are tiny little birds and the sparrows bully them out of the way for the other seeds and oats we put onto the feeder. 

So we have very well fed birdies. It is no wonder Jasper gets shit upon quite so often.
