Ardmore at sunset

It has been a lovely day. A good friend came over after lunch for a catch up and I joined her for a long walk up to the top of Darleith Road ,over the Red Road and along the track towards Drumhead House and back home. It was 6.5 miles which these days is a long walk for me . It was great to spend time with my friend .
I made some food for J and me and after dinner we went for another walk at Ardmore to see the sunset.
So nearly 8 miles today. It really felt like a day off - pleasantly tired now .
We are watching the first series of Spooks these nights. It certainly keeps one's attention.
