Allotment Blooms

Just back from the allotment. Had intended giving everything a good hosing down but misjudged the weather - it was far too chilly to be standing about. So settled for watering the courgettes, squashes and increasingly rampant pumpkin. I’ve never grown a pumpkin before so I’m not too sure whether to curtail it or just let it go bananas but it has loads of flowers and buds so I guess I should get rid of most of them in order to hopefully get a decent sized pumpkin.
Dug up some early spuds - really disappointing crop so far, especially the Charlottes which are usually pretty prolific. Maybe planted them too late, don’t really know.
Given my current form, these are obviously not my flowers; they look far too good!
