Photographing the Wind

Catching the movement of air is a challenge for the photographer, made visible by the movement of the sand. Found out today that a fellow blipper RtCph had died. Of course, we had never met but nevertheless we had exchanged messages over the years - usually prompted by me commenting on how his wonderful pictures of Copenhagen brought back memories of family holidays to Denmark - the Carlsberg elephants come to mind. During lockdown I obviously hadn't been paying attention as I had missed his blips about his back and shoulder problems and then the diagnosis. So it came as more of a shock this morning than it should have. Does that only go to show that our connection was slight. It probably was but the news is no less sad. Thinking of his family and friends xx
