Everyday I Write The Book

Social Distance

We dropped in on M who lives just outside Brighton today. Fabulous to catch up. Lovely sunny day, right on the edge of the downs. These guys stole a lot of horses together when they were younger, and some bonds are never broken. You might not be able to hug but you can still feel the love.

As well as seeing M we went to Lewes and into Brighton and the Laines. Fab day. Got some nice bits in the Lewes flea market (although a lot of the fleas were big and expensive), and had coffee in a really nice cafe. In Brighton we bought a shedload of vegan goodies and had some fantastic vegan fast food in Vurger. The vegan smoked buffalo chicken burger was a beauty.

I like Lewes but it has too much traffic, too many hills, and a slightly odd atmosphere - like in The Wicker Man you either have to join the local cult or be prepared for the consequences ... maybe I’m just paranoid about their bonfire night tradition https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewes_Bonfire

Great day, check out the collage.

Got an apology from the GP Practice about my medication not getting actioned and they said they had sent the order to the pharmacy today. That’s good to hear.  Desperate to get this eye fixed.
