At St Bees Head
As the Lakes were crazily busy with tourists today (and a little wet) - we drove to the Coast at St. Bees, where the forecast was much better and took a walk over St. Bees Head as far as the Lighthouse (extra). Bird life over the head is very prolific, it being the only site in England where the Black Guillemot nests (though there are hundreds of ordinary Guillemots here too). Gulls and Cormorants were the only birds flying around, but the Cormorants were further out, so it's a Gull today.
