Mountain storm

I finally took some time off and drove up Donner Pass.  I love the old bridge that is almost at the top of the pass. I have blipped this before several years ago, but still enjoy the structure.  The only thing that has changed is the burned out car chassis that sit below on the rocks.  On the other side is a great view of Donner Lake below.  

When I first arrived, the sky was relatively clear with some light clouds.  Mountain storms can move in quickly.  This one did in about 15 minutes.  I am glad that I stayed and hiked around a bit, or I would have missed this shot.  

Processing was converting this to mono.  I did just a little crop on it to take out unnecessary background.
