Chain walk

Today we walked/climbed the chain walk at Elie.
I have done this trip in excess of 50 times but I never tire of its beauty and excitement. 
It is series of 8 chains helping you navigate along a cliff that juts out into the Forth estuary. 
Having first done this as a very young child I am finding it harder each time I attempt it now that I am nearing my 53rd birthday.  I took a friend and her 21 year old son and my 20 year old son. The 2 young ones made short work of the chains whilst my friend and I huffed and puffed our way to the end. 
A very enjoyable day. Off to bed early as an early start for me. I'm off to Switzerland to visit my sister with my son tomorrow.
