Otherwise known as Nijmegen or Nimwegen. The city has Roman roots. 

This weekend would have been the start of the annual summer festivities that last a week. We always go there. So today we went into Nijmegen to see if we could find anything reminding us of the usual atmosphere. They tried, with some decorations. But without the music, the stages, the thousands of visitor it's not the same. As can be expected.
