Drove across the moors this afternoon, seeing it first under grey skies and then later under a canopy of gorgeous cumulus clouds.
The narrow roads and car parks were very busy presumably because it definitely wasn’t beach weather this morning.
Locals can always spot the ‘grockels’ the term of endearment for tourists, because they panic as the roads narrow and high hedges crowd in on the cars. Today they were everywhere..
We ended up in a beautiful rugged valley above Plymouth and enjoyed a walk for a few miles along the Plym and returning beside the Meavy.
Jorgie found a deep swimming hole to practice her doggy paddle.

Off to hospital in the morning hoping that someone there will be able to do my blood tests - 3rd lucky!
