A Grand Day Out

After a great trip to the May Isle there are so many puffin photos to look through before selecting one, and a few extras, for today's blip.

A good boat trip, if a bit choppy at times, out to the island. Only 40 passengers instead of the usual 100 and we all had our designated seats.

There were some restrictions on the island and sadly, Bishop's Cove our favourite spot for good close up shots was a no go area .... the path is too narrow to maintain social distancing.

Not only puffins on the island. Out on the cliffs, nesting on the most incredibly small ledges were hundreds of Kittiwakes and Razorbills many with their offspring.
