There It Is!

Mr Flum was asleep and I was sitting up reading when at 12.30am our peace was shattered by the shrill of the telephone. Fearing the worst, Mr Flum grabbed the handset, only to hear the excited voice of Miss Flum ordering us to look out of the window to see the NEOWISE comet that had so far hidden itself behind a thick veil of cloud.
Binoculars poised, we scanned the sky in the advised area and angle and there, in a triangle of stars, was the faint trail we had hoped to see.

Too faint for any camera of ours, I submit one of Miss Flum's photographs as my blip, taken just before she contacted us. Not only does she have a better camera but can avoid the hindrance of streetlight (and the infernal security light of our opposite neighbour) that we have to contend with.
