A Billion Giggles
We had a barbecue in our garden today - daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and also our son came to visit.
Socially distant seating arrangements meant we are a bit spread out on the patio but a good time was had by all. The girls had great fun picking raspberries and blackcurrants from the bushes.
I also managed to persuade our resident frog to put in an appearance - and it turns out he has a friend! Absolute delight for the girls - especially as one of the frogs allowed us to pick it up! They are living in a small storage create which has accumulated water (and insects). They must get out as I have seen one around the garden occasionally.
Later I got out this bubble machine - and we spent ages chasing around the garden trying to catch the bubbles. So many giggles (me included) and much fun was had.
I drove son home (as he does not drive) - an unusual experience as we both wore masks and he sat in the back on the passenger side.
A lovely day - knackered now after clearing up and deep cleaning cloakroom after the guests left.
