Peach Jam.

The jam is finished and it has set beautifully.  As you can see there is a hodge podge of various favourite jars and no decorative gingham cloth lids or fancy labels etc.  These are not destined for a local village produce show or a charity stall I'm sorry to say but to grace my own breakfast table - and that of a friend who offered to cook breakfast this morning and I was pleased to take this barely cooled from last night gift to have after the Eggs Benedict (my fave breakfast!) she prepared. Nice start to the day.  The rain that was expected here in the S.E. did not happen and so watering is going to need to be done.
