A Pair of Goosanders

These rather attractive saw-toothed ducks are regulars on the canal. We walked Rona along the tow-path this afternoon enjoying the sun but not the bitter north wind. Thanks to the weather and contractors vehicles, that tow-path us a bit of a mess and those shovels paws needed serious washing before Rona was presentable again.
