Butterfly count

A lovely sunny day - it was somewhat ruined by some noisy and dusty building work going on next door. After lunch we headed over to see my Mum and help her out with a few jobs in the house and garden. It was quiet there and her garden is a real sun spot so we sat and chatted for a while once we had done the jobs and counted the butterflies. A Red Admiral, a large and 2 small whites and this one - a Comma. It’s hard to photograph them as they flit around so much! We came home and after I had a short snooze in our garden we had dinner together outside and a quick walk through our usual route but in reverse. It’s amazing what you notice when you change things up a bit!!
