A day of two halves. 

The morning was dull. We drove to Coniston for a walk while it was quiet. The Bluebird Cafe was serving takeaway food and drink and had outside tables but the weather put us off having a coffee. I thought the colourful hire kayaks would be good for a blip. 

The afternoon was sunny. I spent it in the kitchen, cooking for the freezer.
