Swapsies

More swapsies with neighbours slightly further away.
This time I had a huge head of broccoli on the verge of bursting into flower at the first hint of sun.  Far too much for me to eat.  So I split it with neigbours who pressed fresh cut chard on me in return.  Fair being fair.  

Very interesting to see the structural beauty of the seed heads of the poppies, leeks and parsley they'd let go to seed.  Their garden is similarly exposed to ours so it was good to see their more mature and overgrown raised beds, ideas for the future.  And the invitation to pop in for more whenever I want.  So generous.
