I wonder why it is called a Spoonbill?!

Having tried, slightly half-heaterdly to catch up with the Spoonbill that has been lurking here for a month or two, eventually today was our lucky day. Don't quite know how we missed a big white bird in an area with no trees before but....
Our (my) night to put together the quiz and so that took a little time and we also caught up with friends who have a house nearby and have just arrived from their other house on the masinland.
They even came and joined Tricia in the quiz but without too much effect sadly!
