Ready to reap
Lovely sunny but breezy day for a walk round the perimeter of the village, where the fields are looking golden and ready to be harvested. As you can see, they've already started in the field above, although the combine harvester is somewhat camouflaged by the green of the trees.
This afternoon I started on a 'Gin Lover's' jigsaw that Gill has lent me. All sorts of fascinating information is waiting to be revealed, like the types of gin, the distillation process and various gin cocktails, but I'm going to struggle to see all the tiny lettering...
Talking of gin...it's the weekend and it's past gin o'clock, so I'm off to pour myself a plain old G&T. Once I've finished the jigsaw, I'll be able to experiment with all the knowledge I will have acquired. Slainte, blipmates!
