Brief encounter

I'm a bit behind with my blips. This was very much a snatched shot as the rain was horizontal at the time and it was very cold. Traveled to Arnside to attend the funeral of my friends mum. We have been friends since we were two and I spent many childhood hours at her house. Her parents had retired to Arnside from Yorkshire. It seems a lovely part of the world although sadly I didn't get to see much of it as it was simply pouring down with rain. This is Carnforth station where they filmed Brief Encounter
