Catching up with my blips again!

After checking out of our hotel, we went to find somewhere for breakfast, before going back to yesterday’s starting point, but this time heading south on the Monon trail towards Indianapolis. This section, understandably, was more built up. At one point, we passed these murals, known as the Monon Love train, which “brings peace, love, beauty and joy, with more than 250 positive messages on 44 rail cars, over 600 feet long, and completed in 2014 with the help of about 300 community volunteers” in another area there were murals with a mandala design and words such as Love, Peace, Diversity and Harmony - a very topical message for these times I thought. On our way back to our starting point, we stopped in the community of Broad Ripple for an ice cream, from what appeared to be a repurposed train depot. By the time we got back to the car, it was mid afternoon, so we decided to head off back home, as we needed to move our patio furniture and flower containers off the patio, and move the bird feeders, as tomorrow we have a tree company coming to cut back and thin out our oak tree.
