Newt

We had a good Zoom chat with #2 Daughter to prepare for her trip down to us next week. She likes to plan the menus and do the shopping so we don't accidentally give her ingredients she's intollerant to. I managed to get my run done then we both pottered about doing housework.

I was standing at the door when The Man shouted: " Sue, Sue, come and see this!" " I haven't got my....! " "And bring your camera!"

It was so delightful to see this little newt which The Man had inadvertently uncovered while he was rearranging some wood in the garden. We both took shots then he covered it up again. The Man looked it up and thinks it's a smooth newt. A first for our garden!
