Pond in bloom

Some of the plants in the pond are suddenly blooming. These have spread into quite a large patch. As I took the photo we could see lots of little froglets hopping around the edges of the pond. One in extras.

The children all finished school for the summer today and so they were all in high spirits. What an odd summer it seems as they have only been back for six weeks.
