Mission unaccomplished

Operation Haircut was not a resounding success.

The barber we’d planned to visit turned out to be closed: not just for the day, but for good.

We then naively thought we could get into the hairdressers across the road. We could, but not today.

Trip to Haddington tomorrow, then.
