Today's the day …………………….. to go on a mission

We had an important job to do today - to go to the wonderful Elizabeth MacGregor Nursery to get some plants for my brother, Ron.

He had been given one of their gift vouchers as a present and as we are going up to see them on Sunday, it seemed like a good idea for us to take the plants with us.  He had sent us a list of what he fancied and all we had to do was go and find them.

That, of course, was a huge pleasure - any visit to Elizabeth's garden is always inspirational.  The plants that she sells are just a bit unusual and there are quite a few that she has developed herself which have been awarded medals by the RHS.  The main problem is usually to restrict yourself because there are so many plants that you would like to have.  Just as well then that we had Ron's list - and it was an easy job to find them all.

Mission accomplished …………………….!
