Our heritage..
The saga continues. Went to Curry's PCWorld this morning with the vacuum cleaner in the back of the car. Had to queue about twenty minutes before getting to see a customer service assistant. We explained the situation and as I thought, he coudn't do anything because after the first year of the guarantee , you have to get in touch with the manufacturer, which of course is Dyson, We argued the point for ages, but no joy. To say we were not amused doesn't even come close so we came home.I dialled the number again and left it on hold while we had a coffee, and after about forty five minutes a human voice answered. We were so shocked, but very glad to speak to someone at last. We gave her the guarantee number, and explained what was wrong and she said she would send us a replacement roller head within the next seven days. A result at last, so perserverance does pay. A happy ending to the saga. ( see extra photo)
