Matthew 25:35

“I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”

Th front camera on my phone decided to pack it in - so I’m resorting to stealing some of Deb’s wonderful photos to backblip! To document this fab holiday, memories worth remembering. A whole lot of love for this crazy bunch!

Was reading today the next chapter of my book, this one called “Hospitality among Strangers”. It speaks about this mainly in the context of caring for those with dementia, and their carers.
But it’s so lovely reading this, when I’ve just been shown in real life what it looks like. To be invited and included - but more than that, to be welcomed, and made to feel no longer a stranger.

Gratefuls:

- Safe travelling, especially Sam cycling - an answer to prayer.
- Being so well looked after! And never allowed to go hungry!
- Getting to know this family better, through quality time.
- Laughter and kindness - it’s special to find both!
- Beautiful views in new places.
