St Mary’s church Kinnernie

Nothing much remains of this ancient church apart from a few foundations and a graveyard with graves dating from the 18thC.

I’ve a friend who lives nearby and we enjoyed a lovely cycle in warm weather over rural Aberdeenshire taking in Torphins, Finzean ( bacon roll), Strachan and Banchory (ice cream). About 45 miles in total.
