It's Prettier Than it Tastes

M and I went for a walk out on the marshes near Cley this morning.  It was sunny, warm and hardly a breeze (which is most unusual out there).  M was enjoying identifying the various birds we saw and I was very content photographing the wild flowers.
This Chicory is a favourite of mine, used in the past for medicinal purposes and as a substitute for coffee.  Having had Chicory coffee I definitely prefer the more traditional brew, which we then drove home to enjoy.
The extra is a view over the marsh from the flower-bordered path. As you can see the water level is rather low at the moment.
