New cat on the block

We now have a new visitor to our garden. We’ve seen him about a few times, but he usually runs when we come across him unexpectedly. Today he made to run, but I stood, then squatted and called to him and he came over for a pat. Lovely markings - a bit like an Egyptian Mau - and wearing a wee blue collar with no name tag. I’ll have to give him a name. I do that with all the cats who visit. Before we knew Mittens’ name ( prior to his adoption by us) , we called him Young Taz, as he resembled a smaller thinner version of our own beautiful Taz. Our (still) visiting longhaired black cat was named Osian before we found out he was called Bertie.
