And it certainly was. at a point just before this image while coming up the Crown Range Rd it was -8c. This is  a view of the Queenstown Basin area, The airport is on the left up by the start of the lake. 
The Bossess flew into this and had a great view from the plane but this takes the cake for today. On the way home we found there had been a hoar frost in the valley (extra) All of this is way better in huge with a hat on.
